Andrew Long has been representing Plaintiffs in personal injury litigation for over 27 years. Mr. Long attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he graduated with honors in 1990 then completed his legal education at the John Marshall Law School in 1993.
Since becoming a licensed attorney, Mr. Long has concentrated his practice on the litigation of disputed personal injury claims. He has successfully represented thousands of personal injury victims in the greater Chicago area and completed over 200 jury trials in Cook, Kane, Will, McHenry, DuPage, and Lake Counties.
Andrew Long has numerous six and seven figure settlements and judgments for clients with extremely difficult cases - including a $4,404,056.04 judgment for injuries to a truck driver killed after crossing the centerline and striking oncoming traffic; a $1,200,000.00 settlement for a pedestrian hit in a parking lot; a $456,000 settlement for the family of a drowned cold-water swimmer; $100,000.00 for an intoxicated soccer fan that fell down a set of poorly lit stairs; $460,000.00 for the family of an elderly immigrant struck and killed while crossing the street mid-block; and $375,000.00 for a shoplifter injured by a security guard.
Mr. Long also has experience arguing in the Appellate Court and has served as arbitrator and litigant in many forms of alternative dispute resolution. He also has significant experience in insurance law, nursing home litigation, construction accidents, products liability, dram shop and other types of civil litigation.
